The Direction of National Education, Youth and Sports of the Princely Government informs candidates wishing to benefit from a scholarship for advanced studies in a foreign language that the procedure is available online on the MonGuichet.mc portal, Education section – Apply for a scholarship for advanced studies in a foreign language.
Conditions
• Be enrolled in a secondary or higher education institution;
• Be of Monegasque nationality, spouse of a Monegasque, of foreign nationality dependent on a Monegasque, of foreign nationality or orphan under the care of a State or Municipal official, of a public institution official or of a French Service established by Treaty in the Principality for at least five years, in activity or retired, or of foreign nationality residing in Monaco for at least ten years without interruption. For the dossier of a secondary education candidate to be eligible, it must necessarily be enrolled in the Principality at the time of application and the chosen language must be taught in a public or private school in the Principality of Monaco. As for higher education, the choice of language must be justified according to the course of studies pursued.
Types of stays
Secondary school students have the opportunity to:
• 5 stays – from 2 weeks to 2 months (outside school hours);
• An unlimited number of stays for students in classes, “English Plus”, “European Section” and “International Section” – from 2 weeks to 2 months.
Higher education students have the opportunity to:
• 2 stays – from 2 weeks to 2 months;
• 1 stay – from 2 months to 1 year (duration equivalent to an academic year, possibly fractionated).

Applications must be submitted, even if incomplete, online or deposited at the Direction of National Education, Youth and Sports, against the issuance of a receipt, no later than 2:00 p.m. on the last Friday of August of the year of application.
