If you regularly use public transport, there’s news on the Zou network that you’ll want to note, and it’s good news! With the completion of work on Avenue Jean Jaurès in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, passengers headed to Menton or Nice will no longer need to change lines in Monaco. Starting Saturday, April 6, 2024, lines 607, from Nice to Monaco via Place d’Armes, and 608, from Menton to Monaco, will merge to form line 600, formerly known as line 100.

The line will be accessible from Nice (Square Normandie Niemen stop) and will reach Menton (Gare Routière stop), passing through Monaco. It will serve the following cities in particular: Nice, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Èze-sur-Mer, Cap-d’Ail, Monaco, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, and Menton.

Paths and schedules:

Please note that due to ongoing construction, the Arson/Fodéré bus stop in Nice on the Nice/Monaco route has been moved 50 meters towards the port, near the Port Lympia/Arson stop. The construction is expected to be completed by the end of May 2024.

Line 601 for night travel

For those who need to travel in the evening or even at night, line 601 (formerly Noctambus) is available. This shuttle connects the Menton bus station to the port of Nice (Nice Square Normandie Niemen stop) every summer evening starting from June 21, departing from Nice at 21:30 (23:10 departure from Menton), as well as on the eve of holidays. During the rest of the year, it is available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and the eve of holidays.

It stops at Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Èze-sur-Mer, Cap d’Ail, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, and Monaco, but you can also get off between two stops. Here is the route and schedule:

For line 600, the cost of the “Ticket Azur” is €2.50. It can be purchased directly from the driver in cash (cards will soon be accepted), online, and from authorized retailers, allowing you to travel freely between Nice and Menton.

If you travel between Nice and Monaco without entering the Principality, you can use Lignes d’Azur tickets. Similarly, if you travel between Monaco and Menton without entering the Principality, you can use Zest’bus subscriptions.

However, please note that Lignes d’Azur and Zest’bus tickets are not valid on line 601. Therefore, consider a cost of €2.50 to purchase the ticket from the driver, as during the day.
