After World War II, the orderly life of the Undersecretary of State for Family and National Education, Charles Jacquet, who achieved the closure of brothels and increased penalties for abortion, is disrupted when he learns, on the same day, that his wife is expecting a baby and that his son has impregnated his secretary! This is just the beginning of a series of unexpected events that will upheave the references of this bourgeois family.

The eleven tragedies of Jean Racine as you’ve never seen them before! From the famous “Berenice”, “Phaedra”, “Andromache” or “Britannicus”, to the lesser-known “Bajazet” or “Mithridate”, all rigorously revised and corrected through comedy, “Racine par la racine” offers an entertaining journey through the work of the great playwright. A group of four actors drags us into a whirlwind mixing biographical elements, snippets of prefaces, authentic excerpts or pastiches of the works. The inventive direction plays with these different registers: classical scenes in Greek or Roman togas, shadow theater, mime, musical comedy, contemporary theater, masks.

Arnaud loves Marion. But since they visited an apartment to move in together, he has a slight doubt: Did Marion have a crush on the real estate agent? By sheer chance, Arnaud meets the latter’s look-alike and asks him to pretend to be the real estate agent. A brilliant idea! Unless the fake agent comes face to face with the real one… And a twin brother suddenly shows up. Three look-alikes in the same evening, it’s too much for Arnaud!
