CANNES AS THE CAPITAL OF GAMES

The city of Cannes and its Palais des Festivals organize the International Games Festival every year, and for a week, it becomes the epicenter of what’s new in the international gaming industry. Studios, publishers, authors, illustrators, gamers, and the like all gather on the famous Croisette. All disciplines and industry actors come to Cannes for a week of intense gaming. Amateurs, experienced competitors, as well as professionals take over the Palais des Festivals, which becomes a massive gaming board with over 45,000m² of traditional and classic games, recent board games, video games & VR, simulation games (RPGs, miniature, historical and fantastic Wargames, etc.), cards, construction games, Arts & Crafts, toys, and much more.

DURING THE 2024 EDITION

The 37th edition continues its development.

The Cannes International Games Festival expands its offering and rethinks its spaces in the area of the Palais des Festivals. Everything has been thought out for you to fully enjoy the Festival, whether it is for a day or for the whole weekend.

Inside the venue, exhibition areas on Levels -1 and 0 will feature all gaming universes this year, totaling 24,000m² of booths.

  • The Expo Hall on Level -1 will now host families, children, casual, expert, and intermediate games.
  • The Hall and Rotonde Riviera on Level 0 will continue to host families and children’s games and will be joined by casual games.
  • The Rotonde Lérin on Level 1 will continue to host role-playing, Wargames, and Figurines games, joined by casual games and will highlight the “Label As d’Or, game of the year.”

Multiple exhibitions will take place across these different areas.

Outside, development continues!

Structures on the beach and the esplanade will host general public spaces where you’ll find all the exhibitors’ novelties, best-sellers, and tournaments, a covered restauration area, ludic and musical animations that will rhythm your visit. During the evening, two structures will host the OFF NIGHTS on the beach of The Palais des Festival for ever richer protonights.
