January is the month of sales, and many eagerly anticipate it to refresh their wardrobes. In Monaco, they began on Tuesday, January 2, a few days ahead of France, where they will start on January 10, 2024.

On Monaco Info, the President of UCAM reviewed the balance of the past year and revealed potential challenges for commerce in Monaco in 2024. “The commercial sector performed well in 2023; it was an extremely positive year. I am very satisfied. We had many tourists, but also local residents who made purchases in Monaco, especially thanks to the Carlo app, which helped boost sales.”

Quality products and exceptional hospitality Alexandre Pasta also emphasized that Monaco has a “small advantage” over France, as the sales start earlier and end later. Indeed, shops in the Principality will offer discounts until February 15, while in France, the sales will end on Tuesday, February 6.

“There are people who wait for this moment to shop in the Principality, knowing that quality products are found here, and the hospitality in our stores is always impeccable. In Monaco, there are not only luxury brands but also shoe and clothing stores. These are independent businesses that allow for good deals,” assured the President of UCAM.

For those who wish to shop in Italy, we note that the sales in Liguria started on Friday, January 5, 2024. For 45 days, until February 18, Ventimiglia, Bordighera, and even Sanremo will offer advantageous promotions.
