The city of Menton is launching a new tradition dedicated to good humour: Menton du Rire, a festival that from 11 to 13 December will transform the Théâtre Francis Palmero into a vibrant stage of comedy, energy, and creativity.
Organised in collaboration with the Monte-Carlo Stand-Up & Comedy Festival, the event brings together emerging talents and international performers in three shows designed to make audiences of all ages smile.
The programme opens on Thursday 11 December at 8:00 p.m. with the Tremplin de l’humour, an evening dedicated to up-and-coming comedians—a chance to discover new voices and be surprised by their fresh, spontaneous humour.
The festival continues on Friday 12 December at 8:30 p.m. with Sebastian Marx and his show On est bien là, an ironic journey through languages, everyday life, and brilliantly funny observations.
The grand finale arrives on Saturday 13 December at 8:30 p.m. with Anthony Kavanagh and his show Happy: a burst of laughter, music, and positivity that promises to captivate the audience from start to finish.
With its mix of cabaret, stand-up, and international comedy, Menton du Rire aims to become a must-see winter event on the French Riviera, celebrating light-heartedness and the contagious power of humour.
