Port Hercule will host the 49th Cyclist Criterium, organized by the Monaco Cycling Union, on Sunday, March 17th. As in previous years, the event village will be set up on Albert I Quay, and the race course will follow the “route de la Piscine – Avenue J.F. Kennedy – Boulevard Albert I”, causing the following disruptions.
On Sunday, March 17th, from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, it will be forbidden to circulate on:
• Quai des États-Unis, between the regulated access quay area and its intersection with Route de la Piscine;
• Route de la Piscine;
• Avenue J.F. Kennedy*;
• Darse Sud
*: These provisions will not apply to residents’ vehicles between Boulevard Louis II and Quai des États-Unis (however, residents must head towards the Portier intersection and are prohibited from turning towards Quai des États-Unis).
From Saturday, March 16th, at 11:00 pm until Sunday, March 17th, at 6:30 pm:
• Only the “counter-lane” of Boulevard Albert I will be accessible to road users;
• Upward lanes of Quai Antoine Ier, between Route de la Piscine and Boulevard Albert I, will be closed to traffic, while a two-way traffic system will be in place for downward lanes between the Rocher-Noghès tunnel and the Quai Antoine Ier parking lot (with a prohibition for all vehicles coming from Quai Antoine Ier to turn towards Boulevard Albert I).
From Saturday, March 16th, at 11:00 pm until Sunday, March 17th, at 6:30 pm, it will be forbidden to park on:
• Quai des États-Unis between the regulated access quay area and the intersection with Route de la Piscine;
• Route de la Piscine;
• Louis Chiron turn;
• Jules Soccal dock;
• Darse Sud;
• Entire Boulevard Albert I;
• Quai Antoine Ier between Rocher-Noghès tunnel and Quai Antoine Ier parking lot.
• “Stade Nautique” and “Princesse Antoinette (Gare)” stops will be made in the main lane.
• Line No. 1 will be diverted to Avenue d’Ostende from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm (stops not served: “Kennedy”, “Auditorium Rainier III”, “Portier”, “Spélugues”, “Citronniers”, and “Place du Casino”).
The “Princesse Antoinette” stop will be made in the counter-lane of Boulevard Albert I from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm (Monaco/Menton direction).
