From June 1st to September 21st, the “Sweet Symphony” exhibition by Claude Como will be on display at the Museum Gallery of the Palais de l’Europe in Menton. Curated by Guillaume Theulière, Director of the Museums of Menton, and Stéphane Salles-Abarca from Le Cabinet d’Ulysse, this exhibition is a major cultural event for the city during the summer season.
The Mayor of Menton, Yves Juhel, invites you to discover this new exhibition by artist Claude Como, which promises to captivate with over 130 textile works, drawings, and sculptures. The artist takes us into a fantastic world, populated by vegetal and marine elements. Claude Como’s gigantic and tentacular installations invite visitors to immerse themselves in a fascinating and enchanting universe.
“Sweet Symphony” features a unique 60-meter-long work that occupies the entire space of the Galerie des Musées. This installation is designed as an immersive work, where the viewer can enter and remain, experiencing a unique journey into the heart of a sublimated nature, through an unrealistically augmented and material vegetation.
The exhibition also includes an extension at the Town Hall, with two works on display until July 12th.
Additionally, the artist will hold a conference at the Odyssée municipal library on Saturday, June 1st at 3:00 PM, providing a unique opportunity to delve into her artistic journey and inspirations.
