For 17 days, the Scènes d’Automne festival will thrill you with performances and events presented by the theaters and cultural institutions of Nice and the Métropole to celebrate the performing arts in all their forms.

On the program: 14 performances in the official selection and an immersion into the world of puppetry with Ezéquiel Garcia-Romeu, the festival’s sponsor!

An impressive encounter that will delight families (and be just a little bit scary too…)

Join us from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Coulée Verte in Nice for an extraordinary walk with the White Lady, a giant 4-meter-tall puppet animated by the artists of the Deraïdenz company, accompanied by festive music.

Free | Open to all

Starting at Bourgada at 2 p.m. and ending at the Jardin Albert Ier.

Events around the festival

Scènes d’Automne offers many additional events around the festival.
From Thursday, October 3 to Sunday, October 6, there will be a focus on a reading of contemporary texts by students from the Nice Conservatory, a performance based on No Place to Lay One’s Head by Françoise Frenkel, and an exhibition dedicated to the TNN archives. For these three key events, entry is free, subject to availability.

Thursday, October 3 – 6 p.m.
L’Entre-Pont

Discover contemporary dramatic writing and emerging talents from the region through this reading by students from the Nice Conservatory (Theater Cycle 3), accompanied by actors from TNN. This event at L’Entre-Pont is the first of three more to be held at the Théâtre Francis-Gag, l’Artistique, and Les Franciscains.

On the Run! Confessions of a Bookseller

In 1940, a French literature enthusiast fleeing Nazi Germany arrives in Nice and escapes the roundup of August 26, 1942, thanks to the Marius family, a couple of hairdressers who hide her for several weeks.
