Fréjus Short Film Festival 2024

The Fréjus Short Film Festival represents the highlight and must-attend event at the beginning of each year. For a remarkable 27 years, this event has facilitated the meeting of an enthusiastic and curious audience with the excellence of French and international cinema.

In addition to the official competition, during the period from January 26 to February 6, 2024, numerous original and diversified film events are scheduled to cater to all types of audiences: film music concerts, themed film nights, performances, meetings, and, of course, an evening dedicated to animated short films.

The 27th edition of the Fréjus Short Film Festival, scheduled from January 26 to February 6, 2024, will feature the participation of ten fiction films and thirteen animated films in the official competition.

Four unmissable events:

• Friday, January 26, at 6 p.m. – Salle de spectacle dell’Igesa – Official launch of the Fréjus Short Film Festival. This will be followed by a film music concert performed by the Big Band de l’Ecole de musique et d’art dramatique Jacques-Melzer, directed by Mickaël Steinman.
• Thursday, February 1, at 8 p.m. – Cinéma Le Vox – Film screening evening “Au nom du fils”. This will be followed by an exchange session with the director, Kader Ayd, and the actors of the film, including Richard Bohringer, Richard Sammel, Arsène JIROYAN, and Joe Ia.
• Friday, February 2, at 8 p.m. – Théâtre Le Forum – Official competition evening of the Hermès Selection.
• Saturday, February 3, at 8 p.m. – Théâtre Le Forum – Musical evening with the show Fame[us] by the Kaâla Dance Studio (choreographed by Hama Baroudi).
