Pier Paolo Calzolari is known for the formal originality of his multidisciplinary practice (painting, sculpture, but also performances conceived as “acts of passion”), which often resorts to the use of organic materials such as tobacco leaves, fire, or frost to create “installation works” that question the limits of contemporary art. A retrospective exhibition, “Ideal House” is a rare opportunity to discover the world of an artist who has left his mark on the history of art through his often unconventional approach to various plastic arts practices.
