The French Riviera Community is organizing the 1st International Citrus Fair at the Palais de l’Europe on April 5th and 6th.

Welcoming producers of Menton Lemons and many other varieties, the French Riviera Community hosts agricultural professionals to showcase their talents, research, and carefully selected products. This event provides a space for inspiration and sourcing, positioning itself as an essential meeting point for exchange, networking, and promotion among agricultural industry professionals and the general public.

For two days, the International Citrus Fair will focus on the social challenges related to citrus fruits and invites exhibitors, speakers, partners, and visitors to reflect together on the present and future of citrus fruits, exploring their uses, trends, and knowledge.

PROGRAM:

Friday, April 5th from 9 am – 6 pm

9:30 am: Inauguration in the presence of officials and Guillaume Gomez, Chef of the Elysée Palace and personal representative of the President of the Republic for gastronomy and food.

10:00 am: Perfume making workshop based on citrus.

10:30 am: Cooking Show with Chef Gilles Brunner.

11:00 am: Perfume making workshop based on citrus.

Citrus grafting workshop.

Conference “The History of Citrus in the Mediterranean Basin” with researchers Franck Curk & François Luro.

2:00 pm: Conference “The Use of Citrus in Perfumery” with Chanel perfumer Olivier Polge, perfume critic Yohan Cervi, researcher Xavier Fernandez, and cultural mediator Noémie Melissas.

3:00 pm: Citrus grafting workshop.

Cooking Show with Chefs Dhaker Bejaoui and Mark Flanagan.

Dedication Meeting with Michel and Bénédicte Bachès, Citrus Experts.

3:30 pm: Perfume making workshop based on citrus.

4:00 pm: Round Table “Creating Brands and Quality Certifications” with European producers, scientists, and professional organizations.

Dedication Meeting with Xavier Fernandez, The Comprehensive Guide to Essential Oils, Hydrosols, and Vegetable Oils.

4:30 pm: Cooking Show with Chef Enrico Marmo.

Perfume making workshop based on citrus.

5:00 pm: Citrus grafting workshop.

Dedication Meeting with Olivier Biggio, Cold-resistant Citrus.


Saturday, April 6th from 9 am – 6 pm

10:00 am: Dedication Meeting with François-Régis Gaudry, We’re Going to Taste Italy.

10:30 am: Cooking Show with Chef Luc Gamel.

Perfume making workshop based on citrus.

11:00 am: Citrus grafting workshop.

Conference “The Use of Citrus in Gastronomy” with Chefs Mauro Colagreco, Christian Garcia, Jean-Claude Brugel, Julien Dugourd & journalist François-Régis Gaudry.

11:30 am: Perfume making workshop based on citrus.

2:00 pm: Conference “Citrus in the Production of Alcoholic Beverages” with Carole Quinton (Cointreau), Patrick Leger (Grand Marnier), & Bruno Malavasi (Campari).

3:00 pm: Cooking Show with Chefs Christian Garcia & Jérôme Rigaud.

3:30 pm: Perfume making workshop based on citrus.

4:00 pm: Round Table “Emergency of Diseases and Parasites of Citrus” with European producers, scientists, and professional organizations.

4:30 pm: Cooking Show with Chef Anaïs Fourrier.
