A big surprise: the poster unveiling the Fête des Violettes, scheduled for March 1-2, 2025, “opens” up to Asian cultures.
Each edition of the festival, which attracts thousands of visitors to welcome spring amidst the scents and colors of violets, has its own unique poster.
The 2025 edition poster has been created by Dany N’Guyen, a tattoo artist from Tourrettes sur Loup, whose studio is located along the Grand’rue.
This poster is also a tribute to Asian cultures, and this is no coincidence: the 2025 violet festival will be organized in collaboration with Jinju, a city in South Korea.
At the center of the design, reminiscent of manga, stands a druid messenger. His arm is symbolized by a snake, referencing the Chinese zodiac for the new year.
The snake’s body coils to form the symbol of infinity. The messenger wears deer antlers, a symbol of strength and beauty, which also ties to Tourrettes sur Loup.
Around the figure’s neck is an imposing necklace shaped like the Flower of Life, a symbol of universal harmony. This geometric symbol is formed by intersecting seven circles, which in Christian tradition represent the seven days of Creation.
The background is decorated with patterns inspired by traditional Korean architecture, with purple being the dominant color.
