On March 10, 2025, the 5th edition of the PropTech Symposia took place under the auspices of the Princely Government, in collaboration with the Monaco Economic Board (MEB), ESCP Business School, and various professional chambers and industry unions. In the presence of Madame Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Government Counselor-Minister acting as Minister of State, the event brought together renowned experts from real estate and technology to explore the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the real estate sector.
Under the theme “PropTech: Reinventing the Future of Real Estate,” the symposium, led by the Digital Economy Unit within the Interministerial Delegation for Digital Transition, offered a unique insight into transformative innovations, addressing strategic challenges, new business models, and practical AI applications in real estate.
Prior to the main conference, thirty industry experts and resident investors from the Principality engaged in exclusive discussions with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and panelists. This pre-event, organized in partnership with the Government’s Attractiveness Unit and the Monaco Private Label network, fostered valuable exchanges.
The conference opened with a keynote speech by Dominique Alba, General Director of Ateliers Jean Nouvel, focusing on the integration of AI in architectural and urban design.
The program featured insights from a panel of distinguished experts who shared their vision on AI’s evolving role in real estate:
The debate was moderated by Thierry Cherel, Director of Natixis CIB Research, and hosted by Geneviève Berti, Director of Government Communication.
Since 2019, the Government of Monaco and ESCP Business School have collaborated through the “Real Estate Tech” Chair, inaugurated in Paris in the presence of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince. This partnership has led to key initiatives, including the Global PropTech Barometer, a benchmark publication managed by the Digital Economy Unit, highlighting emerging trends shaping the future of real estate technology. The 2024 edition, previewed during the 5th PropTech Symposia, is available on the Monaco for Business website (eme.gouv.mc).
The symposium concluded with an interactive networking session, enabling participants to exchange experiences and establish new collaborations. With its high-level agenda and the presence of 150 leading industry professionals, the PropTech Symposia 2025 solidified its position as a premier event for anticipating market transformations in the age of AI.
This initiative aligns with the Monaco for Business program, focusing on:
