September marks the transition from summer to the season of major international events in Monaco. During the month, the Principality offers a rich calendar of gastronomic experiences, entertainment and nightlife, with many events taking place at venues and establishments belonging to Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer.

It is a time when the summer atmosphere does not disappear but simply changes pace. Fine dining experiences are joined by themed evenings, exclusive events and international music stars, leading up to the highlight of the month: the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, taking place from September 23 to 26.

Fine dining in Monte-Carlo: September between Japan, the Mediterranean and Champagne

Gastronomy is one of the main highlights of September in Monaco. Among the experiences to discover is the Matataki menu at L’Abysse Monte-Carlo, an exceptional Japanese fine-dining journey designed to last approximately two hours.

The experience reflects the international character of Monte-Carlo’s culinary scene, where techniques and ingredients from different cultures come together in carefully crafted gastronomic experiences.

At Blue Bay Marcel Ravin, meanwhile, the “Rituel des 5 éléments” returns. Created around Chef Marcel Ravin’s culinary vision, the experience is inspired by the five elements and combines Creole and Mediterranean influences, bringing different culinary traditions together in an original gastronomic journey.

The Wednesday event will resume on September 16, 2026, returning to the Principality’s autumn culinary calendar.

An exceptional dinner with Elsa, Marcel Ravin and Charles Heidsieck

The gastronomic programme continues with a special event on Friday, September 18, 2026, when Elsa Marcel Ravin will host an exceptional dinner in collaboration with Charles Heidsieck.

The evening will feature a gastronomic journey created by chefs Marcel Ravin and Domenico D’Antonio, accompanied by selections from head sommelier Benoît Bouquin.

Champagnes from Maison Charles Heidsieck will complete the experience, carefully paired with a menu inspired by the world of the Jardin Marin.

The event reflects one of the defining characteristics of Monaco’s culinary scene: the ability to transform dinner into a complete experience in which cuisine, wine and atmosphere come together.

Pétanque and Mediterranean atmosphere: the return of the evening at La Rascasse

September in Monte-Carlo is not only about fine dining. Tradition and conviviality also have their place on the calendar.

On Thursday, September 10, the pétanque evening at La Rascasse returns, offering an event that perfectly captures the Mediterranean and informal spirit of the Principality.

The evening provides a different way to experience Monaco’s nightlife, combining socialising, entertainment and one of the activities most closely associated with the culture of southern France and the Côte d’Azur.

Carnival Fortune: Casino Café de Paris transforms for one night

On Saturday, September 19, 2026, it will be time for Carnival Fortune, the annual evening hosted at Casino Café de Paris.

The event promises to transform the venue into a spectacular setting inspired by the traditional fairground celebrations of the past, with artistic performances and immersive entertainment.

A prize draw will also add to the excitement, with four prizes up for grabs: an electric Vespa, an electric bicycle, a package dedicated to discovering Monaco and a stay at Europa-Park.

Carnival Fortune is another of the events helping to keep Monte-Carlo’s festive atmosphere alive beyond the height of the summer season.

Monaco Yacht Show 2026: four days in the international spotlight

The main highlight of the month will arrive with the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, taking place from September 23 to 26.

This major international event dedicated to the world of luxury yachting will once again bring yachts, industry professionals, businesses and visitors from around the world to Monaco.

During the Yacht Show, however, the Principality will not be animated solely by activities connected with the exhibition. Monaco’s nightlife will also intensify, with a series of events featuring some of the biggest names in international DJ culture.

Roger Sanchez and Bob Sinclar: Monte-Carlo nightlife takes centre stage

Among the musical highlights is Roger Sanchez, who will take over the decks at Amazónico Monte-Carlo on September 24.

The following day, September 25, will see Bob Sinclar take centre stage, with an evening involving COYA Monte-Carlo and Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo.

The presence of internationally renowned DJs confirms Monte-Carlo’s position as one of the Côte d’Azur’s leading nightlife destinations, particularly during international events that attract an international audience to the Principality.

With yachts, restaurants, music and nightlife venues, the days surrounding the Monaco Yacht Show become an especially vibrant time to experience Monte-Carlo after dark.

Monaco in September: major events and the last taste of summer

September’s calendar highlights Monaco’s ability to change pace without losing its distinctive identity. Fine dining, glamorous events, international music and more convivial traditions such as pétanque come together in a programme that accompanies the Principality into autumn.

The Monaco Yacht Show, in particular, is the major event that brings international attention to the destination over just a few days. But the gastronomic experiences and evenings organised at venues belonging to Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer also make September an especially appealing month for discovering Monaco beyond the traditional summer season.

From the Japanese fine dining of L’Abysse Monte-Carlo to Marcel Ravin’s creations, from the dinner with Charles Heidsieck to the atmosphere of Carnival Fortune, and from evenings with Roger Sanchez and Bob Sinclar to the international buzz surrounding the Monaco Yacht Show, the Principality offers a September filled with luxury, gastronomy, music and major international events.

For those choosing Monaco and Monte-Carlo during the final weeks of summer, September is therefore an ideal time to experience the Principality at its most dynamic, combining gastronomic experiences, exclusive evenings and the international atmosphere of the Monaco Yacht Show.
