The official opening of the Handiplage site took place today in the presence of Christophe Robino, Government Advisor – Minister of Social Affairs and Health, and representatives of the National Council, the City Hall, the Directorate of Social Action and Assistance, the Directorate of Urban Planning, and the Public Parking Service. “This service is aimed at people with disabilities, the elderly, and also children and teenagers who need support for swimming,” said Christophe Robino. In partnership with the Princely Government, the Soroptimist Club Monaco has been offering a Handiplage activity at Larvotto beach for 19 years, until September 1, 7 days a week, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekends. A qualified and dedicated team of Handiplagists ensures high-quality swimming assistance, notably with tiralos providing comfort, fun, and safety to enjoy the joys and benefits of swimming. Those arriving by car can benefit from a free 3-hour parking pass valid in the Larvotto public parking lot. This year, new improvements have been implemented:
