As part of the renovation of Stade Louis-II, whose first phase of works has just begun, it has been decided to replace all existing seats.

The suspense over the color choice was lifted yesterday evening by Minister of State Christophe Mirmand during the public session of the National Council: the Sovereign Prince has chosen a mosaic of red and white seats, the emblematic colors of Monaco, spread throughout all the stands.
A gradient effect will enhance the red tones, bringing dynamism and modernity to the stadium’s visual identity.

🏟️ Retractable seats for a more versatile arena

Another major innovation concerns the popular and pesage sections, whose retractable seats will allow spectators to enjoy events either standing or seated, depending on the occasion.
This system will provide greater flexibility not only for football matches, but also for other sporting events, starting with the Herculis athletics meeting.

🗓️ A phased project through to 2027

The installation of the new seats will take place in stages, according to the various phases of the stadium’s renovation.
The complete transformation of Stade Louis-II is expected to be finalized by May 2027, marking a new chapter for one of Monaco’s most iconic sporting venues.
