The Palais des Festivals and the Théâtre Palais Stéphanie turn October into a true stage of emotions. Between the 4th and the 26th, audiences will enjoy a diverse calendar blending music, laughter and powerful theatre.

The month opens with the lively comedy Rupture à domicile and the witty, heartfelt monologue of Tom Baldetti, followed by the unmistakable voice of Mariza, heir to Portuguese fado enriched with jazz and pop influences.

Next, the Orchestre National de Cannes, under the baton of Soo-Yeoul Choi, will present works from Mendelssohn to Beethoven, featuring the acclaimed young South Korean violinist Bomsori Kim. The intense and poetic energy of rapper Kery James will captivate the audience, while Ring stages sixteen “rounds” of a couple’s life, between passion, conflict and reconciliation.

The month also paves the way for the Festival International des Jeux, with ticket sales opening on 7 October: a much-awaited event for board game, role-playing, trading card and video game enthusiasts.

October in Cannes promises a crescendo of emotions: six performances that capture, each in its own way, the magic of live entertainment.
