From 10 to 13 September 2025, Monaco once again becomes the world capital of classic yachting with the 17th edition of Monaco Classic Week – La Belle Classe, organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco. This unique event blends sport, culture and lifestyle, turning the Principality into a meeting point between past and present.
More than 50 traditional sailing yachts, 14 vintage motor-yachts, 70 classic powerboats – including an exceptional fleet of 52 Rivas – and 25 Dinghy 12’ will gather in Monaco. Among the stars are 19th-century jewels such as Sky (1890), Lulu (1897) and Partridge (1885), celebrating its 140th anniversary, together with legendary early 20th-century vessels including Invader, Viola, Tuiga and Mariette of 1915.
The international spirit will be highlighted by the participation of the Manhattan Yacht Club and, for the first time, a delegation from the Yacht Club d’Amaala (Saudi Arabia), competing aboard the gaff ketch Black Swan (1899).
The 2025 edition also features two original exhibitions. Action! Les yachts classiques à l’écran explores the link between cinema and yachting through forty panels featuring iconic boats such as Zaca (Errol Flynn), Kalizma (Richard Burton & Elizabeth Taylor), and Marge (Plein Soleil with Alain Delon). In the Ballroom, photographer Kos Evans presents Rock & Royals, works created on historic sails that merge photography, heritage and craftsmanship.
On land and at sea, highlights include the traditional parade of mahogany runabouts, icons of the Dolce Vita, as well as the renowned Concours d’Élégance. The Grand Jury, chaired by Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, will also award the prestigious Monaco Classic Week Prize, combining the La Belle Classe Restoration Award and the Elegance Competition.
With its blend of competition, conviviality and culture, Monaco Classic Week 2025 once again celebrates Monaco’s deep bond with the sea – a living heritage and an endless source of inspiration.
