The Princely Government launched this summer the renovation works of the refreshment areas, restrooms, and stands at Stade Louis II.
This project, led by the Public Works Department in close cooperation with the Stadium Management, aims to sustainably improve the experience of spectators and users: renovated refreshment points, modernised restrooms, redesigned circulation in the stands, and more comfortable and accessible spaces. It also seeks to bring the facility up to the safety and quality standards required for major international competitions.
The works are scheduled in several phases, from 2025 to 2027, in order to ensure the continuity of major sporting events hosted by the Stadium, in particular AS Monaco matches, the Herculis Meeting, and the Games of the Small States of Europe. During this period, some facilities will be temporarily relocated, and provisional solutions will be implemented to guarantee spectator comfort.
These initial works mark the beginning of a comprehensive renovation programme, part of a broader vision to modernise Stade Louis II by 2035. This progressive project will support the sporting life of the Principality over the long term, combining modernisation with the continued hosting of major events.
