Within the framework of the commitment of the Municipality of Monaco to environmental protection, and more precisely to raise awareness among different generations, the Municipal Institution is organizing a completely innovative event in the Principality: the simultaneous creation of environmental murals.

This innovative workshop, which allows addressing issues related to climate change with a participatory and educational approach, is aimed at young people aged 10 and above, adults, and families.

The Compost Cycle will focus on understanding the nature and ecological functions of the soil. This mural will raise awareness about resource use and its ecological impact, focusing on organic waste. It will also promote new consumption habits to reduce environmental impact.

The Circular Economy Fresco aims to highlight the challenges associated with transitioning our production and consumption system to a more virtuous circular model. Its goal will be to steer the debate on the use of natural resources and the management of waste and pollution generated by our lifestyles.

The Oceanic Fresco will highlight the challenges related to the ocean and the consequences of our activities on this ecosystem, in order to provide concrete action points.

The Water Fresco will comprehensively address the water cycle. Participants will explore four key aspects: the natural water cycle, the human-influenced water cycle, and the impact of humans and climate change on these processes.

This mural will enable the evaluation of individual and collective measures that can be taken for better management of this precious resource.
