From 12 to 14 September 2025, Place de la Courtine in Saint-Paul-de-Vence will echo with laughter for the very first edition of Les Remparts du Rire. Conceived by Julien Nacache and Louis-Aubry Longeray — founders of the theatre company Les Collectionneurs — and supported by the artistic patronage of Michel Boujenah, the festival promises an irresistible blend of comedy, conviviality and entertainment for all audiences.
Over three action-packed days, audiences will enjoy sharp stand-up comedy, poetic theatre and family-friendly performances. The programme features rising stars such as Pierre Thevenoux, Pablo Caillault, Lisa Perrio and Marc Tourneboeuf, unique stand-up voices like Alexis Le Rossignol, Emma Bojan, Baba Rudy and Mélodie Fontaine, and will conclude with the interactive play Théâtre à la Carte by Les Collectionneurs.
Drawing on nearly twenty years of experience as Artistic Director of the Festival de Ramatuelle, Michel Boujenah brings to this first edition his generosity, high artistic standards and sense of connection. His ambition: to make Les Remparts du Rire an unmissable cultural event on the French Riviera’s calendar, celebrating humour in all its forms and fostering close bonds between artists and audiences.
