On September 17, a flag-raising ceremony was held at the construction site of the New Princess Grace Hospital Centre by H.S.H. Prince Albert II, in the presence of Didier Guillaume, Minister of State, Jean-Louis Grinda, Vice President of the National Council (representing Thomas Brezzo, President of the National Council), Céline Caron-Dagioni, Government Counselor-Minister for Equipment, Environment, and Urbanism, Christophe Robino, Government Counselor-Minister for Social Affairs and Health, Lionel Beffre, Government Counselor-Minister for the Interior, Benoîte de Sevelinges, Director of the CHPG, Jean-Luc Nguyen, Director of Public Works, Julien Galland, Project Director for Vinci, and Vincent Chaigneau, Architect. This ceremony, held at the highest point of the structure, is a tradition in the construction sector. It marks a key milestone in the realization of the NCHPG: “The completion of the structural work for Phase 1, which will house 75% of the hospital activities of the future facility; a public infrastructure of utmost importance for the future of the Principality, for Monegasques and residents, as well as neighboring populations,” recalled Céline Caron-Dagioni, emphasizing that this construction phase represents 40,000 m³ of concrete, 8,000 tons of steel, and 500,000 hours of labor since 2015.
