On Friday, May 30, Mrs. Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, hosted a luncheon at the Hôtel Hermitage in honor of four newly accredited Ambassadors:

  • H.E. Mr. Mohammad AMIN NEJAD, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, formerly posted in Niger and accredited to Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, and Liberia;

  • H.E. Mr. Sarun CHAROENSUWAN, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand, previously posted in Belgium;

  • H.E. Mr. Jaroslav KURFÜRST, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic, also formerly stationed in Belgium;

  • H.E. Mr. Maksat CHARIEV, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, also Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of Turkmenistan to UNESCO and accredited to the Portuguese Republic (residing in Paris).

Earlier that morning, the Ambassadors had presented their Letters of Credence to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince.
Following the ceremony, they had the opportunity to exchange views with Mrs. Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, in the presence of the Honorary Consuls of the Czech Republic and Thailand, as well as representatives from the Monaco Economic Board and Monaco Private Label.

The meeting served as an occasion to discuss the ties of friendship and cooperation between the Principality and each of their respective countries.
