The members of the first College of the Coordination and Monitoring Committee for the National Strategy to Combat Money Laundering, the Financing of Terrorism, the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Corruption met on Friday, 11 July, under the chairmanship of Mrs Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, Government Counsellor–Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, acting as Minister of State.
On this occasion, the commitment and collective work of the relevant services and authorities since the beginning of the monitoring process by the FATF’s ICRG Group were acknowledged and commended.
Following the adoption of its first progress report at the latest FATF plenary meeting, Monaco is now preparing for the second review milestone.
In this context, a reminder of the upcoming deadlines in the ongoing procedure was issued, and the services and authorities were encouraged to sustain their efforts to ensure that the Principality exits the grey list as swiftly as possible.
