On Monday, September 16, 2024, in the morning, H.E. Mrs. Manuela RUOSI, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy, presented her Letters of Credence to H.S.H. Prince Albert II in the presence of Mrs. Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, Minister of Government-Counselor for External Relations and Cooperation. The new Italian Ambassador to the Principality was then received by the Minister of State, Didier GUILLAUME, at his residence for a luncheon presided over by H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince.
A graduate in Political Science from the Oriental University Institute of Naples, Manuela RUOSI began her diplomatic career in 1992 by joining the General Directorate of Cultural Relations of the Italian Government. In 2016, she was appointed Head of the Protocol Office of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Italy before becoming Counselor of the Embassy in 2020.
H.E. Mrs. Manuela RUOSI is a Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, Dame Commander of the Order of St. Gregory the Great of the Holy See, and Dame with Crown of the Order of Merit of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (2005-2018).
