On Saturday, December 6, 2025, the Association named “Franco-Monégasque International Literary Festival” will organize its first Literary Festival at the Club Bouliste in Fontvieille (Avenue Marquet).

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the public will have the opportunity to discover around fifty French-speaking authors who will exhibit some of their works. Among them: Bernard Werber, a world-renowned author whose books are translated into around thirty countries; General Dominique Trinquand, former head of the UN military mission; Nathalie Cohen, associate professor of classical literature and author of an essay and a series of ancient-themed thrillers; and author–speaker André Peyrègne, former Director of the Nice Regional Conservatory.

Among the exhibitors, visitors will also be able to discover three publishing houses and a bookstore specializing in comic books, appealing to both children and adults.

The day’s program includes meetings with authors and book-signing sessions.

The Association will also conduct interviews with the participating authors, which will later be available on its website.

Students from the Lycée Paul Valéry in Menton, accompanied by their teachers, will also take part by conducting interviews with the authors they meet.

• Learn more about the Association:

The creation of the “Franco-Monégasque International Literary Festival” Association was published in the Journal Officiel de Monaco on February 28, 2025.

Its purpose is to promote written works of a broad literary nature — artistic, scientific, historical — through French-speaking and international authors.

To achieve this, the Association develops several activities:

  • A website gathering all information related to the Association and the Literary Festival, including exclusive content: https://flifm.com/

  • An online digital bookstore with more than 6,000 works in print and digital format: https://librairiefm.com/

  • The organization of the aforementioned Literary Festival, the main accomplishment of the year.

  • A web radio (Radio Focus), currently being developed.

  • The organization of a high school student competition planned for 2026, in which students will write on one of five proposed topics.
