Chaired by Mr. Christophe ROBINO, Government Counselor-Minister of Social Affairs and Health, the Graduate Insertion Commission (CID), led by Mrs. Héloïse Boin, met this Tuesday, July 9, to review its activities and present its annual report for the year 2023 to its members.
During this meeting, the new head of the Commission presented its numerical report. Thus, in 2023, the CID followed 290 young people for professional insertion, internship/alternation searches, or more generally, information requests. Among the 72 appointments for professional insertion, 62 young graduates were successfully placed in fixed-term or permanent contracts (86% success rate) within Monegasque companies. This success rate is mainly due to the synergies developed by the CID with local companies, but also with certain entities of the Principality, such as the Youth Employment Cell and the Employment Service, the Directorate of Human Resources and Public Service Training, the Committee for the Protection and Promotion of Women’s Rights, the Directorate of National Education, Youth and Sports, the Junior Economic Chamber, the Monaco Boost business incubator, the Monaco Economic Board, the Monegasque Association of Financial Activities, and the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council of Monaco. In 2023, the CID signed 21 new partnerships with local companies (totaling 263 partner companies since 2010).
Héloïse Boin also presented the main figures for the first half of 2024. From January 1 to date, the CID has received 95 young people, including 43 information requests, 27 job searches (of which 16 were successfully placed in active employment), 19 internship searches (of which 14 resulted in internship agreements), and 6 alternation searches.
Since the beginning of the year, the CID has proposed 27 meetings, conferences, or workshops, including the Orientation Agora within Monaco’s schools where the CID invited professionals from Communication, Yachting, Event Management, and Medical Professions. The CID also participated in the 2nd “Monaco for Employment” forum last February, once again proving that the insertion of young graduates is a key concern of the Princely Government.
Finally, Mrs. Boin outlined the objectives and events that will mark 2024 and the following year, including participation in the 3rd “Monaco for Employment” forum to be held in February 2025, for which a new space entirely dedicated to young people will be set up in collaboration with the Employment Service, as well as the organization of events to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the CID in 2025, which will mainly aim to present the CID’s activities and review the careers of graduates followed by the Commission since 2010.
