The celebrations begin on Saturday, 14 November, at 3 pm at Espace Léo Ferré with “Pyjamas”, an event for children aged three and over.
Children are invited to come dressed in their pyjamas and enjoy a carnival-themed snack, games, readings and a photo corner. The event is organised in collaboration with the Médiathèque Caroline.
On Wednesday, 18 November, at 8:10 pm, a fireworks display will light up the sky above Port Hercule.
Later, at 9 pm, Espace Léo Ferré will host “PIAF – Le Spectacle”, performed by Nathalie Lermitte. The renewed production pays tribute to the legendary Édith Piaf and has been seen by more than two million spectators worldwide.
The evening promises to be one of the highlights of the National Day celebrations.
On National Day itself, Thursday, 19 November, comedian Anne Roumanoff will take to the stage at Espace Léo Ferré at 6 pm with her show “L’Âge Libre”.
Through social satire and humour, the performance explores contemporary society and women’s freedom.
The Foire Attractions, located on Quai Albert Ier, will also be open during the celebrations.
The funfair offers another option for families and visitors looking to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Performances at Espace Léo Ferré are free of charge, but an invitation is required.
