With the arrival of March, the Principality of Monaco leaves winter behind and embraces a vibrant and inspiring month. From culture and sport to solidarity initiatives, music and family-friendly entertainment, the spring calendar offers countless opportunities to explore, enjoy and take part.

Culture and major exhibitions

The cultural season gains momentum with several outstanding exhibitions. Until 25 May, the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco presents Le Sentiment de la Nature, a dialogue between five masterpieces by Nicolas Poussin and contemporary works, all connected by a lyrical vision of nature.

Meanwhile, the Musée d’Anthropologie Préhistorique de Monaco invites visitors on a journey through human origins with From Toumaï to Sapiens, on view until 16 October, tracing the key stages of human evolution.

Spring also marks the return of the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, running from 11 March to 19 April. The festival offers an ambitious programme combining classical music, contemporary creation and bold new discoveries.

Laughter, music and ideas

Comedy lovers will gather at the Grimaldi Forum from 10 to 14 March for Les Sérénissimes de l’Humour, featuring leading figures of French comedy such as Dany Boon and Nawell Madani, alongside Le Comedy des Sérénissimes on 13 March.

Music also takes centre stage with a concert by David Hallyday on 20 March at the Grimaldi Forum. The following day offers a more intimate atmosphere with Printemps des Compositrices, hosted at the Église Réformée de Monaco, highlighting the works of women composers.

Those interested in reflection and debate can attend the Rencontres Philosophiques on 11, 12 and 26 March, including sessions designed for younger audiences.

A month of social commitment

March is also dedicated to civic engagement. From 6 March to 7 April, Monacollecte returns with its annual solidarity drive, held this year at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille.

On 6 March, the Espace Léo Ferré will host POWHER, a day dedicated to women’s empowerment. On 20 March, the Monaco Women Forum will bring together international leaders at Le Méridien Beach Plaza.

From 26 to 28 March, the Grimaldi Forum becomes a global hub for innovation with the AMWC, one of the world’s leading scientific events in aesthetic and anti-aging medicine.

Entertainment for all ages

The Commune of Monaco livens up the Condamine Market with an Apéro Music Live on 5 March and a family game day on 11 March. At the Théâtre des Muses, performances range from children’s shows to productions for adult audiences, while film enthusiasts can enjoy the Fête du Court-Métrage on 26 March at the Médiathèque Caroline.

Sport in the spotlight

Basketball fans can look forward to an intense month as AS Monaco Basket faces a series of domestic and European fixtures at the Salle Gaston-Médecin.

Football also takes centre stage on 15 March, when AS Monaco FC hosts Brest at the Stade Louis-II, offering supporters a first look at the newly renovated stands.

March promises to be a key month for experiencing Monaco in all its diversity—where culture, commitment and excitement come together.
