The Breil-sur-Roya Municipal Library is enriching its cultural programme with a new event dedicated to creativity and the pleasure of working with one’s hands. On Wednesday 14 January 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, the library premises at 1 bis, rue Pasteur will host a free sewing workshop, open to anyone wishing to discover or deepen their knowledge of the art of couture.
Designed especially for young people and for those approaching sewing for the first time, the workshop offers a friendly and welcoming environment in which participants can learn the basics, experiment with materials and give shape to their ideas. More than a simple practical activity, the atelier highlights handcraft as a form of creative expression and social connection.
This initiative forms part of the library’s broader commitment to promoting inclusive and accessible cultural activities, strengthening the link between culture and the local community. No prior experience is required—just curiosity, creativity and the desire to enjoy an inspiring afternoon.
