Exhibition – “Lascaux à Monaco”

From Friday, April 19th to Thursday, November 21st, 2024, at the Musée d’Anthropologie Préhistorique, an original scenography organized around facsimiles and an immersive experience in Virtual Reality thanks to #SPL LASCAUX, exclusive thanks to the Museum’s Partners. Original objects from the Lascaux cave exhibited on loan from the National Museum of Prehistory (Les Eyzies, Dordogne) and the Institute of Human Paleontology (Paris) and also… Hyperrealistic reconstructions of 5 Cro-Magnons made by Elisabeth Daynes, a 1/10 scale model of the Lascaux cave with prehistoric paintings and illuminations, and interactive tables and low-tech manipulators.

Rugby – “Sainte Dévote Tournament”

From Friday, April 19th to Saturday, April 20th, 2024, at the Stade Louis II, the Sainte Dévote Tournament was created in 2009 following an exchange between the Monegasque Rugby Federation and the Rugby Club Lucciana, in Corsica. Saint Devota has always linked the Principality to the “Island of Beauty”: she is the patron saint of Monaco, but also of Corsica. 2024 marks the 12th edition of the Sainte Dévote Tournament organized in collaboration with the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.

Theater – “Saudade ici et là-bas”

Thursday, April 18th, Friday, April 19th, Saturday, April 20th at 8:00 PM, and Sunday, April 21st at 4:30 PM, at the Théâtre des Muses. “Saudade” is a Portuguese word that indicates a complex feeling of melancholy, nostalgia, and hope. A sense of “being present in the past, or past in the present.” Idalio, his sister Joana, and their nephew Manu return to the old house, throw open doors and windows, and an entire stream of history emerges. How can they remain faithful to it? How can they transmit it? Do they need it? Or want it? How can one come to terms with an ideal that one has always sought but can never be reached?

The Cabinet of Wonders – ‘The Early Years of Télé Monte-Carlo, 1954-1974’ – An exhibition exploring the first 20 years of the Monaco television channel launched in 1954. A selection of archives and objects will take you back in time, to the very early days of color television. Organized by the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco, the exhibition features objects entrusted by Télé Monte-Carlo for preservation, documents from partner institutions, and materials kindly provided by private individuals.

For this third “Renc’art” event during the Video Game Month, the Library pays tribute to the work of Jean Jacques Calbayrac, alias Game Boy Cameraman, with a collection of his photographs from the archives that give visitors the opportunity to see his series on Monaco, the city of his birth.

Exhibition – “The Prince and the Mediterranean”

On the occasion of the centenary of Prince Ranier III (1923-2023), the Oceanographic Museum presents the new permanent exhibition entitled “The Prince and the Mediterranean.” Through this exhibition, the Oceanographic Institute pays tribute to the unswerving bond that united Prince Ranier III with the Ocean, and especially the Mediterranean. Visitors are invited to board his boat Deo Juvante II. Guided by the voice of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie, they will move through four exploratory and intimate spaces, discovering one after the other the different facets of this Prince passionate about the Mare Nostrum.

From Thursday, July 13th, 2023, to Saturday, May 18th, 2024, at the AS Monaco Official Boutique.

The Visit Monaco logo appears on the new AS Monaco home jersey line! The new jersey retains the iconic 55° diagonal designed by Princess Grace Kelly on the front and the traditional red, white, and gold crest on the left side.

The two-tone round neckline features the club’s motto “Daghe Munegu” on the back, while the words “Rouge et Blanc” (Red and White) appear in golden characters inside, creating an elegant contrast.

A special feature of this uniform is that it is made from 100% recycled polyester, respecting sustainability and material recovery criteria.

Exhibition – “Pier Paolo Calzolari – Ideal Home”

From Friday, November 17th, 2023, to Sunday, April 7th, 2024, at the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco – Villa Paloma
Pier Paolo Calzolari is known for the formal originality of his multidisciplinary practice (painting, sculpture, but also performances understood as “acts of passion”), which often resorts to the use of organic materials such as tobacco leaves, fire, or frost to create “installation works” that challenge the boundaries of contemporary art. A retrospective exhibition, “Ideal Home” is a rare opportunity to discover the world of an artist who has marked the history of art through his often unconventional approach to the various practices of the plastic arts.
