Pier Paolo Calzolari is known for the formal originality of his multidisciplinary practice (painting, sculpture, but also performances understood as “acts of passion”), which often resorts to the use of organic materials such as tobacco leaves, fire, or frost to create “installation works” that challenge the boundaries of contemporary art. A retrospective exhibition, “Ideal Home” is a rare opportunity to discover the world of an artist who has marked the history of art through his often unconventional approach to the various practices of the plastic arts.
