The Monte-Carlo Film Festival returns to light up the Principality from November 12 to 15, 2025, confirming its status as one of the most anticipated events on the international film calendar. Conceived and directed by Ezio Greggio, the festival celebrates the universal power of laughter, transforming Monaco into a stage for creativity, talent, and joy.

Since its inception, the event has pursued a clear mission: to promote comedy as a universal language, capable of telling the stories of our world through the subtlety of humor. Often underestimated, comedy finds in Monaco a stage of excellence where filmmakers, actors, and writers from all over the globe meet and share their art.

The 2025 edition promises a rich program including films in competition, international premieres, and retrospectives dedicated to the masters of comedy, along with a special focus on new talents and emerging voices in contemporary cinema. Press conferences and artist encounters will explore the many faces of modern comedy — from satire to poetic realism, from social irony to emotional humor.

A key focus will also be on education and youth participation: students from Italian, French, and Monegasque schools will have the chance to attend workshops, masterclasses, and round tables, discovering the craft of filmmaking and the creative power of comedy.

As tradition dictates, the festival will conclude with the Grand Gala, hosted by Ezio Greggio and broadcast exclusively on Mediaset networks. The evening will feature awards for the best films, lifetime achievement recognitions, and special mentions honoring artists who have redefined the art of making people laugh with originality and heart.

With its cosmopolitan and sophisticated atmosphere, the Monte-Carlo Film Festival renews its message every year: comedy is a language that unites, moves, and inspires reflection, and Monaco remains its perfect stage — where cinema meets joy and talent turns into shared emotion.
