In the south of France, about thirty minutes from Cannes and Saint Raphaël, in the heart of the village of Fayence, stands the Grand Jardin.

In the 19th century, an Empire general made an unprecedented discovery on a distant continent: a silver mine that earned him extraordinary reward. In love with his wife, a marchioness, and eager to make amends for his long absences, he bestowed upon her this magnificent property.

The ancient residence of the Marchioness spans three levels, enveloped by century-old plane trees and adorned with ancient balustrades. Purchased and subsequently restored by France France and Michel Allongue, the estate has been adapted to host fairs and exhibitions. It is here, in this enchanted place, that the Antique Salons of Fayence have been held since 1986.

Today, the Grand Jardin is the stage for various events, including “Art de Vivre”, curated by France and Michel’s three daughters. These events celebrate lifestyle through the Jardin de la Déco et des Créateurs, the Jardins Des Epicuriens, Le Salon Maison et Projets Artpak, and the four antiquity & bric-a-brac salons that follow throughout the year.
