The first edition of Padel Best Expo, which took place in Monte-Carlo alongside the Rolex Masters, concluded with a gala dinner at Twiga, where the winning pairs of the five tournaments of the Givova Five Padel Cup were awarded, paying tribute to Italy for launching the event. Each year, Padel Best Expo will focus on a different country, in collaboration with various federations, and the 2025 edition will be dedicated to France. Over the three days at the Grimaldi Forum, the event featured matches, presentations, discussions, and business opportunities showcasing Italian excellence within an international village of padel. Professional athletes from FIP RISE Monaco (CUPRA FIP TOUR), football stars, VIPs, promising young talents, wheelchair athletes, amateur players, specialized companies, and passionate visitors from around the world contributed to an event focused on fun, inclusion, and solidarity. Among the highlights were the installation of three indoor padel courts, including one made from a combination of wood and metal, showcased for the first time at Padel Best Expo, and two outdoor courts, one of which was dedicated to pickleball, a racket sport combining tennis, padel, badminton, and ping pong. The tribute to Italy in this inaugural edition was strongly supported by Bsg, the Italian company that conceived, organized, and promoted the international exhibition. “The companies featured in this edition not only enjoyed tailored moments of promotion both physically and online but also became part of a real community, with ample networking opportunities thanks to a program of events designed to facilitate exchanges, networking, and agreements. The courts installed inside and outside the Grimaldi Forum captured attention for their quality, versatility, and design. I want to thank the Bsg team, which worked intensively on the project, the athletes and technical directors, the exhibitors, the football stars, the doctors and professionals who participated in the Padel Forum, and of course, the sponsors who believed in the project and contributed to its success, already confirming their participation in the next edition. The enthusiasm felt over these three days was the clearest sign that we were moving in the right direction. That’s why we’ve already announced the 2025 edition,” said Roberta Ceccarelli, CEO of Bsg and Padel Best Expo. Football stars, along with managers, promising young talents, wheelchair athletes, and amateur players, participated in the Givova Five Padel Cup, a competition with strong social and competitive impact. Among the participants were Dario Marcolin, Gigi Di Biagio, Ciro Ferrara, Marco Borriello, Fabio Cannavaro, Sebastien Frey, Aron Winter, Nelson Dida, Fabio Quagliarella, Fernando Orsi, Cristian Zaccardo, Paolo Cannavaro, and the Monaco Barbagiuans, an inclusive football team of the Principality chaired by Louis Ducruet, grandson of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. Also on the field was the Ballon d’Or winner Andriy Shevchenko, present as an Ambassador for the charitable organization Football for Ukraine, which, along with Fight Aids, is a Charity Partner of Padel Best Expo. The winners of the five tournaments were the Barbagiuans Jordan Klein and Manuel Vallorio for the VIP/Manager tournament, Stephan Vouifour and Olivier Desbois for the Club tournament, Marco Cambronero and Oscar Agea for the wheelchair Padel tournament, Andrea Pitarch and Paula Boixader for the Women’s Amateur tournament, and Luca Pavan and Jacopo Menegazzo for the Generation Z tournament. The Spanish duo Daniel Santigosa and Guillermo Collado won the Monaco leg of the FIP RISE Monaco on the CUPRA FIP TOUR.
