Between 2004 and 2010, Jànluc Sauvaigo illustrated a series of sketches of the “Popular History of Nissan,” set on Mont Chauve, giving birth to the 36 views of Mont Chauve.
The first map is inspired by the Japanese painter Hiroshige, and for the others, Jànluc Sauvaigo evokes Hokusai and his famous Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji. The author will say, “I wanted to celebrate in my own way a magical place in the country. And in Nice, Mont Chauve was obvious. It is visible from the Paillon and Var basins, almost everywhere.”

The emblematic hill of the Château hosts a monumental exhibition by Italian artist Andrea Roggi.
Three works, including two new pieces, “Love, the Future of the World” and “The Future is Us,” will be set against the natural backdrop of the Château Hill and the Bay of Angels. The exhibition is inspired by the Greek concept of love, with imposing bronze sculptures representing nature and seamlessly blending into the environment of Nice.

L’Artistique returns with the restoration of the Ferrero Donation Collection and invites Jean Mas for a temporary exhibition.
In 1986, Jean Ferrero proposed to Jean Mas an exhibition titled “The Cubing of the Nice School,” where various artists from the Nice School were represented as cubes. The following year, Jean Mas created 100 painted shadows that he exhibited on Boulevard du Midi in Cannes. These two installations will be revisited at L’Artistique.
