Events in Monaco in September 2026

The second half of September brings a particularly rich calendar of events to the Principality of Monaco. Concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, conferences, family activities, sporting events and business gatherings will take place over the coming weeks, with several events continuing into October.

From classical music and contemporary art to international yachting events and business conferences, as well as activities for children, sporting initiatives and major cultural events, September in Monaco offers plenty of opportunities to experience the Principality beyond the summer season.

Music and major shows in Monaco

One of the highlights of the programme is the Grande Saison at the Auditorium Rainier III.

On Sunday 13 September at 6 pm, the symphonic season opens with a concert conducted by Bertrand de Billy, featuring cellist Truls Mørk. The programme includes works by Dutilleux and Ravel.

On Saturday 26 September at 4 pm, a concert performance of Roma by Jules Massenet will be presented under the direction of Diego Ceretta, featuring the Chœur de Radio France and several soloists.

On Wednesday 30 September at 7.30 pm, pianist David Kadouch will take the stage at the Auditorium Rainier III. His programme will feature works by Chopin, Liszt, Ravel, Fauré, Barber, Tchaikovsky and Grainger.

The Auditorium’s programme will continue on 1 October with Positive Energy, a performance by Échos-Liés combining choreography, acrobatics, humour, music and stage performances.

Conferences, families and public events

September’s calendar also includes numerous activities aimed at young people, families and the wider public.

On Monday 14 September, the Musée d’Anthropologie Préhistorique will host a conference by Alessandra Orlandini Carcreff entitled Chamanismes et magies. The event will explore the practices, beliefs and traditions of northern peoples and Finno-Ugric culture.

On Tuesday 15 September, Discutons-en ! returns to the Crèche de Monaco-Ville. This session will focus on the introduction of new foods and the development of different food textures in children’s meals, with the participation of the service’s dietitian.

On Thursday 17 September, the Église Saint-Charles will host the Bénédiction des Malades.

The weekend of 19 September will feature several events. The Monaco Trott’n’Roll #12 will take place at the Jardins d’Apolline and along the Allée Lazare Sauvaigo, with activities for children and adults in support of the Fondation Flavien.

On the same day, the World Cleanup Day 2026 will start from the Médiathèque Caroline. The international initiative focuses on protecting the environment and cleaning public spaces. All necessary equipment will be provided by the Société Monégasque d’Assainissement.

Also at the Médiathèque Caroline, the Ecopolis association will organise Des idées pour un goûter zéro déchet, a workshop for parents and children focused on preparing homemade snacks while reducing unnecessary packaging.

Sport, mobility and wellbeing

September will also feature a wide range of events dedicated to sport, sustainable mobility and wellbeing.

From 15 to 21 September, Monaco Bouge Pour Ceux Qui Oublient will offer a week of sporting activities and initiatives linked to World Alzheimer’s Day. Events will take place at various locations throughout the Principality and culminate on Monday 21 September with a charity walk at Larvotto.

On Wednesday 16 September, the Marché de la Condamine will host Munegu Repair Biçiclëta, a free workshop organised by the Mairie de Monaco in partnership with Decathlon. Participants will be able to have their bicycles checked and adjusted as part of European Mobility Week.

Also on 16 September, at the Société Nautique de Monaco, freediver Simona Auteri will be the guest of Le Calme sous Pression. The athlete, holder of four CMAS world records, will discuss pressure management, leadership, performance and the ability to let go, drawing on her experience in high-level freediving.

Art, literature and culture in the Principality

The second half of September will also be particularly lively on the cultural front.

On Saturday 19 September, the Médiathèque Caroline will host an evening dedicated to Duplicate Scrabble, organised in partnership with the Monaco Scrabble Club. The event is open both to beginners and experienced players.

That evening, the Église Réformée de Monaco will launch a new season of the Concerts de la Voûte with Voyage au Cœur du Lyrique. The event will feature soprano Norah Amsellem and pianist Kira Parfeevets, with a programme dedicated to the lyrical repertoire and mélodies for voice and piano.

On Sunday 20 September, at the Grimaldi Forum, Monegasque pianist Stella Almondo will present Anges et Démons, a recital inspired by the world of Franz Liszt and linked to the release of her new album.

On Tuesday 22 September, the Médiathèque Caroline will host its Café littéraire dedicated to the selection of the Fondation Prince Pierre de Monaco and the first novels chosen by the foundation.

The following day, Wednesday 23 September, the same venue will host Ludo Mémo : Lorsque le jeu aide à stimuler notre cerveau, an event organised in partnership with the CHPG Memory Centre to explore the relationship between play, cognitive stimulation and wellbeing.

Exhibitions not to miss in Monaco

Several major exhibitions will also be open to visitors in the coming weeks.

At the Prince’s Palace, visitors can explore Mariage du siècle until 25 September, an exhibition dedicated to the historic week of celebrations surrounding the marriage of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III. The exhibition retraces the locations, key figures and major moments of one of the most famous events in the history of the Principality.

At Villa Paloma, home of the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco, Victor Brauner, L’Aventure magique continues until 3 January 2027. Featuring more than 160 works, the exhibition traces the career of the surrealist artist through symbols, metamorphoses, mythology and references to magic.

At the Musée d’Anthropologie Préhistorique de Monaco, De Toumaï à Sapiens will run until 15 October. The exhibition explores the origins and evolution of the human species, from the earliest bipedal ancestors to Homo sapiens.

Until 15 December, visitors can also discover Magies d’ailleurs, an exhibition exploring the role of rituals in the relationship between human beings, the unknown and the sacred.

At the Hartford Fine Art – Lampronti Gallery, Lumières sur la Lagune will run from 23 September to 25 November, focusing on Venetian painting and the leading figures of 18th-century vedute painting.

Art & Luxury Fair at the Théâtre Princesse Grace

On 24 and 25 September, the Théâtre Princesse Grace will host Art & Luxury Fair, an event dedicated to art, design, fashion and the art of living.

Artists, designers, craftspeople and luxury maisons will come together to present works, products and demonstrations highlighting creativity and craftsmanship.

The Théâtre Princesse Grace will return to the spotlight on 1 October with La Rencontre, starring Thierry Lhermitte and directed by Steve Suissa, based on the bestseller by Charles Pépin. The performance explores the theme of encounters capable of changing the course of our lives.

Monaco Yacht Show 2026: the world of yachting returns to Port Hercule

One of the most eagerly awaited events of September in Monaco will be the Monaco Yacht Show, taking place from 23 to 26 September at Port Hercule.

The 35th edition of the international show will bring together leading figures from the superyacht industry and showcase superyachts, technological innovations and the latest industry trends.

Held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the Monaco Yacht Show will also place particular emphasis on solutions aimed at making yachting more sustainable and responsible.

Business and luxury packaging: Monaco Business and Luxe Pack Monaco

September will also be an important month for the business and professional community.

On Friday 18 September, the Sea Club at the Méridien Beach Plaza will host the 14th edition of Monaco Business, a B2B event dedicated to companies and professionals in the Principality.

The event will provide an opportunity to discuss Monaco’s business environment, current challenges and development opportunities.

From 28 to 30 September, the Grimaldi Forum will host Luxe Pack Monaco, the international trade show dedicated to luxury packaging. The event will bring together companies and industry professionals and showcase new solutions in design, technology and sustainable packaging.

Sport: Monaco take on Lens at Stade Louis-II

September’s calendar also includes an important football fixture.

On Friday 18 September at 8.45 pm, Stade Louis-II will host the Ligue 1 match between Monaco and Lens, part of the French football championship.

The match will once again bring top-level international football to the Principality and complement an already packed calendar of sporting and cultural events.

A September packed with events in the Principality

The second half of September once again highlights Monaco’s international appeal, with a programme bringing together culture, art, music, entertainment, sport, tourism, business and major international events.

From museums and concert halls to Port Hercule and the Grimaldi Forum, as well as the Prince’s Palace, Théâtre Princesse Grace and venues dedicated to families, the Principality offers a diverse calendar of events leading into the autumn.

And the programme does not end with September: several events will continue into October and November, keeping Monaco at the centre of the cultural, artistic and international scene throughout the autumn.
