Exhibition – “7th Monaco Artists’ Forum”

From Friday, 8 to Thursday, 14 November 2024, from 1 pm to 7 pm, Auditorium Rainier III

The Monaco Artists’ Forum takes place every two years at the Rainier III Auditorium, showcasing works by over 80 artists, including paintings, sculptures, and photography. Each edition features new exhibitors and new artistic techniques. In keeping with previous editions, the Popular Choice Award allows visitors to vote for their favorite artwork from October 21 to November 4, with the winner announced on November 8.

Sport – “Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series (Act I)”

From Thursday, 7 to Sunday, 10 November 2024, Bay of Monaco
As part of the Y.C.M.’s sports policy and building on their first 2013 edition with the Melges 20 class led by Valentin Zavadnikov, then the J/70 class, the Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series offers a winter program of training and races for one-design boats, with monthly events from December to March. Attracted by this format, more than 350 sailors from across Europe have chosen Monaco as their winter training base, preparing for the major events of the upcoming season.

Exhibition – “Art Collect ACT V”

Art Collect, a platform dedicated to promoting emerging artists, is preparing to launch its fifth temporary exhibition – ACT V – curated by creatives Christian and Loélia Lange. The event celebrates three years of commitment to art, showcasing new talents like Alexandra Icart, Anval, Boris Rachkovskiy, Catherine Cayssials, Corinne Pirault, Elena Papernaya, Natasha Godet, Nouna, Olga Volga, Salette Viana, and Thierry Mordant, a key figure in Monegasque philately. ACT V offers an immersion in the diversity of contemporary art, creating a space to discover a collection of vibrant and unique works. Art Collect continues to bring new artists to the international stage.

Event – “Monaco Funfair”

From Friday, October 18 to Tuesday, November 19, 2024, Port Hercule, Monaco.

Autumn and school holidays are approaching, and that can only mean one thing: the funfair is back in the Principality! As every year, dozens of ride operators and stall owners (a total of 78) will gather for a festival of fun, with traditional games, activities, rides, bumper cars, food stalls, and much more. The Department of City Events, responsible for organizing the funfair, has thought of everything to ensure an unforgettable experience for everyone!

The Principality of Monaco commemorates the 80th anniversary of its liberation following successive occupations, first Italian and then German, during World War II. An exhibition presented by the Mission for the Creation of National Archives, the Archives of the Monaco Palace, and the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco, with contributions from the Monaco Media Library and the Central Archive and Administrative Documentation Service.

Organized by the Department of Culture of the Principality of Monaco, the exhibition “Des Ateliers aux Ateliers” is an unprecedented journey through 20th-century art history, featuring over 150 photographs by Michel SIMA. The exhibition builds a bridge between the world of modern art and the life of contemporary creation, with the project taking place not far from the “Ateliers du Quai,” an international artist residency that recalls the rich artistic history of the Principality.

Exhibition – “Lascaux in Monaco”

From Friday, April 19 to Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology, an original set design organized around facsimiles and an immersive Virtual Reality experience thanks to #SPL LASCAUX, exclusive thanks to the Museum’s Partners. Original objects from the Lascaux cave are exhibited on loan from the National Prehistory Museum (Les Eyzies, Dordogne) and the Institute of Human Paleontology (Paris) and also… Hyper-realistic reconstructions of 5 Cro-Magnon figures created by Elisabeth Daynes, a 1/10 scale model of the Lascaux cave with prehistoric paintings and lighting, and interactive tables and low-tech manipulatives.


Event – “150th Anniversary of the Hôtel de Paris Cellars”

This year, the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer celebrates the 150th anniversary of the famous Cellars of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo! Opened in 1874, they are a monument to the long and illustrious history of the company, which has often played a significant role. These hidden gems beneath the very foundations of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo epitomize refinement and exclusivity. To commemorate the occasion, the world’s largest hotel cellars will open their doors to the public for the very first time. The celebration will include an exhibition that takes visitors on a journey through 150 years of history, with a display of prestigious bottles and encounters with the cellar masters who will share their love for wine and culinary artistry.

The Cabinet of Wonders – ‘The Early Years of Télé Monte-Carlo, 1954-1974’ – An exhibition that explores the first 20 years of Monaco’s TV channel, launched in 1954. A selection of archives and objects will take you back in time, to the early days of colour television. Organized by the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco, the exhibition presents objects entrusted by Télé Monte-Carlo for preservation, documents from partner institutions, and materials kindly lent by private individuals.

Exhibition – “The Prince and the Mediterranean”

On the occasion of the centenary celebrations of Prince Rainier III (1923-2023), the Oceanographic Museum presents the new permanent exhibition titled The Prince and the Mediterranean. Through this exhibition, the Oceanographic Institute pays tribute to the unbreakable bond that united Prince Rainier III to the ocean, and in particular, to the Mediterranean. Visitors are invited to board his boat, Deo Juvante II. Guided by the voice of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie, they will explore four intimate spaces, each revealing different facets of this Prince, passionate about the Mare Nostrum.
