On Tuesday, June 4, a Hungarian delegation led by His Excellency Mr. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, was welcomed in the Principality for a working visit.
H.E. Mr. Péter Szijjártó was received in an audience by H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince at the Prince’s Palace, after inaugurating the premises of the new Consulate of Hungary, in the presence of Mr. José Luis Delso Martinez-Trevijano, Honorary Consul of Hungary in Monaco.
Subsequently, the Hungarian Minister participated in a working meeting at the State Ministry with Mrs. Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Government Counselor-Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, to review bilateral relations between the two countries since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2016. These discussions also provided an opportunity to discuss economic development opportunities between the two countries.
Following this meeting, H.E. Mr. Péter Szijjártó took part in a conference organized by the Monaco Economic Board, which was themed “Business Destination: Hungary.” During this event, Monegasque economic stakeholders had the opportunity to interact directly with the Hungarian Minister, in the presence of Mrs. Isabelle Berro-Amadeï and Mr. Pierre-André Chiappori, Government Counselor-Minister of Finance and Economy.
