Weekend Events in Menton, discover them all!!
This is a poetic show that aims to bring new life to around twenty poems, all revolving around a common theme: water.
Apollinaire, Baudelaire, Éluard, Prévert, Verlaine, and many others have celebrated water in all its forms. Should we be surprised?
Water is life, but it is also pleasure, dreams, sensuality, movement, color, and travel. And also poetry.
“Au fil de l’eau” is water in words, along with the pleasure and emotion of sharing a common passion and a beautiful friendship.

In this third part of Menton, focusing on the theme of the castle (a reference to the bastion), the central thread of this new exhibition of Jean Cocteau’s works will delve into the universe of the poet prince’s performances: theater, music hall, and pantomime.
It will be an opportunity to showcase the ‘sacred monsters’ who were close to him: Jean Marais, Edith Piaf, Berthe Bovy, Suzy Solidor… Fascinated by the circus since childhood, Cocteau never ceased to transcribe this magic into his work. The exhibition, curated by Dominique Marny, will be designed by Frédéric Beauclair
