The Tourist Office of Menton, Riviera & Wonders is pleased to announce the holding of its Tourism and Leisure Fair on April 17th, from 10 am to 6 pm, at the Palais de l’Europe.
This unprecedented event, open to all and free of charge, promises an unforgettable day dedicated to discovering the treasures of the region. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a multitude of stands highlighting sports activities, outdoor leisure, culture, and wellness.
From mountain excursions to cultural visits, through wellness experiences, everyone will find something to enrich their weekends and holidays.
The Tourism and Leisure Fair is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the best of the #FrenchRiviera and to plan getaways to the #RealWonderland. The program includes workshops, demonstrations, and entertainment for the whole family. Participants will also have the chance to win exclusive gifts.
For everyone’s convenience, visitors will have the opportunity to eat on-site throughout the day.
A conference not to be missed during this event will be led by David Rousseau, head of the Heritage Service of the City of Menton, from 3 pm to 4 pm. He will present the exciting project of a virtual tour of the Basilica of St. Michael, the Penitents’ chapels, and the Annunciation, thus offering a unique perspective on the region’s history.
Archaeology enthusiasts will be delighted by the free workshop organized by the regional prehistory museum of Menton. Open to all and by prior registration at the Tourist Office, this engaging workshop will allow participants to take on the role of an archaeologist, a enriching experience suitable for children from 8 years old.
Sophie, from the Menton, Riviera & Wonders Tourist Office team, will introduce the My Explore Bag activity, ideal for families with children aged 10 and up, which allows you to discover the heritage of Menton, Riviera & Wonders in a playful way, with a backpack full of exploration accessories.
You can also take advantage of a reduced rate (8 euros instead of the usual 10) for the tourist train, which will modify its usual circuit and will exceptionally depart from the Palais de l’Europe, thus offering a practical and fun transport solution for visitors.
