Exhibition – “Harmony of the Rising Sun”

From Friday, January 19th to Saturday, February 10th, 2024, Monday to Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, at Espace 22, explore the richness of both ancient and modern Japanese culture. “Harmony of the Rising Sun,” featuring photographs, Buddhist statues, bonsai, ceramics, incense, Kobe beef leather sandals, frames showcasing traditional techniques, hanging scrolls, and much more, takes you on a journey through the ages. The vernissage, organized by Feelingarts, will be held on Thursday, January 18th, starting at 5:30 PM. An unmissable event for Japan enthusiasts and those eager to immerse themselves in this fascinating culture! 🎨

Exhibition – “The Prince and the Mediterranean”

From December 6th, 2023, at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco In celebration of the centenary of Prince Rainier III (1923-2023), the Oceanographic Museum presents the new permanent exhibition titled “The Prince and the Mediterranean.” Through this exhibition, the Oceanographic Institute pays tribute to the unwavering bond between Prince Rainier III and the ocean, particularly the Mediterranean. Visitors are invited to board his boat Deo Juvante II. Guided by the voice of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie, they will move through four exploratory and intimate spaces, discovering one after another the various facets of this Prince passionate about the Mare Nostrum.

Exhibition – “Pier Paolo Calzolari – Ideal House”

From Friday, November 17th, 2023, to Sunday, April 7th, 2024, at the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco – Villa Paloma.

Pier Paolo Calzolari is known for the formal originality of his multidisciplinary practice (painting, sculpture, as well as performances understood as “acts of passion”), which often relies on the use of organic materials such as tobacco leaves, fire, or frost to create “installation works” that challenge the boundaries of contemporary art. A retrospective exhibition, “Ideal House,” is a rare opportunity to discover the world of an artist who has left a mark on the history of art through his often unconventional approach to various plastic arts practices.

From igloos and icebergs to stalactites and pine forests, the immersion in the heart of the North Pole is guaranteed! Surrounded by blue lights, resident DJ Nicolas Saad will heat up the dance floor every week, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. From ice floes and polar bears in the north to emperor penguins and vast icy deserts in the south, Greg Lecoeur’s iconic photographs reveal the incredible biodiversity of the poles and emphasize the importance of the Arctic and Antarctic as key factors for the proper functioning and balance of our planet. Against the backdrop of breathtaking XXL-sized scenarios, the exhibition “Poles, Fragile Worlds” has a triple objective: to document, amaze, and raise awareness of the need to protect the Ocean. The Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology in Monaco celebrates the visionary legacy of the founder of the current museum, Prince Rainier III. Immerse yourself in the history of the creation of the second museum – a Site Museum! – located in the heart of the Exotic Garden, just steps from the Observatory Cave. Discover the numerous excavations carried out during the reign of the Prince and the unprecedented donations made by him and Princess Grace Kelly. Explore a variety of sectors, from supporting the Monegasque language to holiday colony projects promoted by Louis Barral, the then director of the museum.
