On Tuesday, June 17, Françoise Gamerdinger unveiled the new 2025–2026 season of the Théâtre Princesse Grace: 28 captivating performances blending emotion, creativity, and reflection — from classics and original productions to star-studded casts and emerging talents. Three special shows will be held off-site at the Grimaldi Forum.

🎭 Highlights & Iconic Productions

  • Bérénice, directed by Flemish master Guy Cassiers and performed by La Comédie-Française, brings a visually stunning, contemporary take on Racine to the Grimaldi Forum.

  • Philippe Torreton breathes new life into The Marriage of Figaro, in a modern and socially charged staging by Léna Bréban.

  • Édouard Baer lends his charm and eloquence to Cyrano de Bergerac, in a poetic and powerful rendition.

  • Florian Zeller’s elegant comedy The Truth, featuring Stéphane De Groodt, Clotilde Courau, Sylvie Testud, and Sébastien Facco, will also be staged at the Grimaldi Forum.

  • The Cunning Widow, a sparkling Italian comedy by Carlo Goldoni, brings together Caterina Murino, Sarah Biasini, Tom Leeb, and Pierre Rochefort on the same prestigious stage.

🎬 Acclaimed Actors & Strong Narratives

  • In Address Unknown, Stéphane Guillon and Jean-Pierre Darroussin portray a deeply moving correspondence.

  • The Family, a bittersweet new comedy by Samuel Benchetrit, stars Patrick Timsit and François-Xavier Demaison.

  • Nothing Ever Happened to Me, born from Vincent Dedienne’s encounter with Jean-Luc Lagarce’s diary, delves into the playwright’s intimate memory.

  • Scenes from a Marriage, based on Ingmar Bergman’s work, is powerfully performed by Stanislas Nordey and Romane Bohringer.

  • In Through Monet’s Eyes, Clovis Cornillac guides us through an immersive journey into the painter’s life and work.

  • The Prize, featuring Pierre Arditi and Ludmila Mikaël, stages an intense duel around the Nobel Prize.

  • My Lucky Day, a hit comedy by Patrick Haudecoeur and Gérald Sibleyras, stars Guillaume de Tonquédec.

  • 4211 KM, winner of two 2024 Molières (Private Theatre & Female Breakout Artist), was a hit at Théâtre Marigny.

  • It’s Not Easy to Be Happy When You’re Not Well, awarded Best Comedy and Best Francophone Author (2024).

  • Les Liaisons Dangereuses, with Delphine Depardieu, won the 2025 Molière for Best Actress in Private Theatre.

  • Coal in the Veins swept five Molières in 2025.

  • Also featured: Ring, with Amaury de Crayencour and Jina Djemba.

  • Panayotis Pascot and Paul Taylor, two leading voices of generational comedy, will electrify the stage with sharp stand-up shows.

  • Lumière! explores the story of electricity through science, poetry, and inventive staging.

  • Nocebo, from two Belgian artists, questions how we write our future.

  • I’m Too Green, a fun and thoughtful piece for younger audiences with themes of ecology and civic engagement.

  • No One’s Together Except Me, a touching story about invisible disabilities.

  • The Tower of Constance, directed by Guillaume Vincent with graduates from the Théâtre National de Bretagne.

💭 Philosophical Thought in Action

The TPG continues its partnership with the Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco, hosting workshops throughout the season, including the annual Philo Monaco Week.
