The city of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and its tourist office are pleased to announce their collaboration with the Green Music association for the organization of the Eco-Festival “La Note Verte.”

Known for its stunning natural landscapes and its commitment to environmental protection, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin continues to promote sustainable and eco-friendly initiatives. Through this partnership with Green Music, the city reaffirms its dedication to raising awareness among visitors about the importance of preserving our planet.

“The festival is a unique opportunity to celebrate music while highlighting our natural heritage and adopting a sustainable approach,” says Patrick Cesari, Mayor of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.

Green Music is an association based in Aspremont (06), specializing in organizing jazz and world music festivals. Their mission is to offer open-air concerts with reduced sound levels and minimal environmental impact, providing an authentic experience that also raises ecological awareness among the audience.

This commitment to the environment is reflected in the way the festivals are organized in exceptional natural settings, powered by green energy. The events are further enriched by activities, workshops, and conferences focused on environmental protection.

“We strongly believe that a more planet-friendly cultural model is possible,” say the representatives of Green Music. “With the support of authorities, the public, and the media, we can make this vision a reality.”

The “La Note Verte” festival offers open-air concerts with minimal environmental impact. The selected venues highlight the natural heritage of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, inviting the public to discover exceptional and often little-known natural settings.

Unlike traditional festivals where the choice of venue depends on the artists, here it is the atmosphere of the location that determines the choice of performances.

The concerts will feature a reduced sound system powered by solar batteries, ensuring total energy autonomy and minimal environmental impact. This innovative approach also aims to re-educate the audience to listen to music in a more acoustic and authentic way, as it was in the origins of humanity.
