From April 24th to 28th, the Balletts de Monte-Carlo will return to the Grimaldi Forum for an extraordinary evening titled “To the Point(e)”, accompanied by the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Garrett Keast.
During this evening, they will present three works that explore the potential of academically trained dancers, while keeping a keen eye on modernity. Audiences will have the opportunity to admire “Within the Golden Hour” by Christopher Wheeldon, “Towards a Wise Country” by Jean-Christophe Maillot, and “Autodance” by Sharon Eyal & Gai Behar. The Israeli choreographer, eager to compare her repertoire with a company of expert dancers in pointe work, will adapt this 2018 creation to present a new version that takes into account the uniqueness of the company.
