In the spring of 2022, Menton hosted the first edition of a humor festival conceived as a launching pad for amateur, semi-professional, or professional comedians from France. After the success of the first two editions, the event returns with 10 new winners selected in France and, new for 2024, also in Belgium.

Auditions were organized between December 2023 and March 2024, in Brussels (L’Os à Moelle), Nice (Bobar Comedy Club), Lille (Spotlight), Lyon (Espace Gerson), Montpellier (Redline), Marseille (Garage), Bordeaux (Drôle de Scène), and 60 Comedy (Nantes).

The artistic direction is entrusted to Stéphanie Audegon.

The Jury Prize will consist of a sum of €500, participation in the finals of the Plages du Rire in Nice in August, and the opportunity to perform at Spotlight in Lille, a key venue for humor in Lille, in the 2024-2025 season.

Another novelty for 2024 is the Audience Award, which will allow live voting for their favorite comedian. The winner will have the opportunity to perform at the Bobar Comedy Club in Nice.

Out of 90 candidates listened to, 10 will qualify for the final, which will take place on Friday, April 19th at 8 pm at the Francis Palmero Theater – Palais de l’Europe, an Italian-style theater with 700 seats.
