Start the New Year at the MAR in Ventimiglia: Special Opening on Wednesday, January 1, 2025

On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the MAR “Girolamo Rossi” Civic Museum of Ventimiglia will exceptionally open its exhibition route hosted in the Annunziata Fortress to celebrate the New Year.

It will be an opportunity to discover both the over seven hundred artifacts displayed in the Archaeological Section and the documents, objects, and photographs related to the history of the Annunziata Redoubt and the history of the Valley of Wonders through the educational panels and casts of the most important graffiti engraved on the rocks around Mount Bego.

It will also be a chance to enjoy the splendid view from the Forte’s terrace, stretching from Capo Sant’Ampelio to the Esterel. During these days, it offers not only spectacular sunsets but also a particularly clear view of Corsica.
