Next July, Nice will host the arrival of the 2024 Tour de France, which for the first time in its history will not end in the Paris region.
An exceptional finale by the Mediterranean will see the riders leave Monaco to arrive in Nice, at Place Masséna, on Sunday, July 21, 2024, after an individual time trial stage.
Suspense will be guaranteed until the end, especially since in the two preceding days the group will traverse the roads of the Nice hinterland, tackling mountainous routes.
To promote this extraordinary sporting event, the City of Nice invites all cycling enthusiasts to participate in “Nice Fête le Tour” on Saturday, June 8, 2024, starting at 9 AM along the Quai des États-Unis.
This festive day, organized in collaboration with local associations that work for the development of cycling in all its forms, will offer numerous free activities: introductory workshops, freestyle demonstrations, bicycle minigolf discovery, meetings, information stands, marking stations, and repair workshops.
A cyclosportive race will also be organized, with a course featuring 1,000 meters of elevation gain and 60 km of legendary roads, the same ones that will be ridden by the Tour de France riders during the Grand Finale in Nice in 2024. The race will be open to everyone upon registration on the website www.sport-up.fr.
