The Société des Bains de Mer in Monte-Carlo, Europe’s most starred resort with 7 Michelin stars, presents its “Festival des Étoilés Monte-Carlo”.
The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort will host the exceptional collaboration between Marcel Ravin and David Toutain on Saturday, May 11.
For this fourth edition, Marcel Ravin invites David Toutain, chef and owner of the two-star restaurant David Toutain in Paris.
The two chefs share a deep love for nature and a passion for authenticity, as well as a strong interest in sustainable dining, especially in terms of quality and sourcing of ingredients. Additionally, they have a keen interest in the materials used in their restaurants and the development of interior spaces. It was therefore natural for them to come together to offer a moment of haute cuisine linked to their common vision.
Marcel Ravin Marcel Ravin is one of the most talented chefs of his generation. The Caribbean chef with two Michelin stars and an innovative style passionately and boldly orchestrates the kitchens of the Blue Bay Marcel Ravin at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort. His dishes feature a touch of his native land, Martinique, a good dose of creativity, and an infinite love for taste and pleasure.
David Toutain As a child, David Toutain thought he would dedicate his life to agriculture. Although he eventually left his native Normandy, he meticulously oversees the maturation and fermentation of products every day with the soul of a farmer accompanying his harvest, to reveal many of its secrets… In a modern setting, reminiscent of a loft, he offers a suggestive cartography of contemporary tastes through author cuisine with presumed ambitions: vegetable inclinations, lightness, and refined graphics. The chef is full of energy and wisdom, at an age where inner balance allows him to embrace (and channel) his creativity.
