Event – “International Flower-Arranging Competition”

Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5, 2024, Yacht Club de Monaco Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince and the Presidency of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover, the theme of the 55th International Flower-Arranging Competition will be “Seas & Oceans”. Participants from all over Europe are expected to attend, demonstrating all their powers of imagination with wonderful floral compositions like works of art. Organised by the Garden Club of Monaco.

Exhibition – “The Ice Giants”

From Wednesday, April 10, to Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, polar bears and emperor penguins are the main protagonists of “The Ice Giants”, a new exhibition by Michel Bassompierre. Seven monumental works will be installed in the Oceanographic Museum and on its panoramic terrace. Five of them will be new creations: four polar bears and one three-meter-tall emperor penguin. Original drawings and sketches will also be exhibited, accompanied by a film presenting the artist’s work. This temporary exhibition is part of the Polar Mission organized by the Oceanographic Institute since 2022.

Exhibition – “Lascaux in Monaco”

From Friday, April 19, to Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology, an original setting organized around facsimiles and an immersive experience in Virtual Reality thanks to the #SPL LASCAUX, exclusive thanks to the Museum’s Partners. Original objects from the Lascaux cave exhibited on loan from the National Museum of Prehistory (Les Eyzies, Dordogne) and the Institute of Human Paleontology (Paris) and also… Hyperrealistic reconstructions of 5 Cro-Magnons made by Elisabeth Daynes, a 1/10 scale model of the Lascaux cave with prehistoric paintings and illuminations, and interactive tables and low-tech manipulatives.

The Cabinet of Wonders – ‘The Early Years of Télé Monte-Carlo, 1954-1974’ – An exhibition exploring the first 20 years of Monaco’s television channel launched in 1954. A selection of archives and objects will take you back in time to the very early days of color television. Organized by the Monaco Audiovisual Institute, the exhibition features objects entrusted by Télé Monte-Carlo for preservation, documents from partner institutions, and materials kindly provided by private individuals.”

Exhibition – “Pasolini in Chiaroscuro”

From Friday, March 29, to Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco – Villa Sauber The new exhibition at Villa Sauber pays tribute to Pier Paolo Pasolini, perhaps the last European intellectual to have gained worldwide fame. Fifty years after his death, his influence is still felt in the various fields in which he worked: he is read, commented on, adapted, and inspires contemporary creative artists. While he preferred to define himself as a writer, it was his films that brought him to public attention. The exhibition explores his inspirations and his legacy.

Exhibition – “The Image Beyond The Pixel”

From December 6, 2023, Oceanographic Museum of Monaco On the occasion of the centenary of Prince Ranier III (1923-2023), the Oceanographic Museum presents the new permanent exhibition entitled “The Prince and the Mediterranean”. Through this exhibition, the Oceanographic Institute pays tribute to the tireless bond that united Prince Ranier III with the Ocean, and in particular with the Mediterranean. Visitors are invited aboard his boat Deo Juvante II. Guided by the voice of H.R.H. Princess Stéphanie, they will move through four exploratory and intimate spaces, discovering one after another the different facets of this Prince passionate about the Mare Nostrum.

The Visit Monaco logo appears on the new AS Monaco home jersey line! The new jersey retains the iconic 55° diagonal devised by Princess Grace Kelly on the front and the traditional red, white, and gold crest on the left side.

The bicolour round neckline features the club motto “Daghe Munegu” on the back, while the words “Rouge et Blanc” (Red and White) appear in golden letters inside, creating an elegant contrast.
